80% off would be $ 5 not $ 2

Dan, you are right. I had that in there and forgot to delete it (I use templates to post). I fixed it. Still $2 for a $25 GC.

Do you know if you can use more than 1 gift certificate per visit, i.e. use 4 $25 gift certificates to get a $100 meal, not including tip, for $8? Thanks!

Matt, typically it is only one gift certificate per visit. There are other restrictions too such as no alcohol, spend a certain limit to use the $25 gift certificate, etc (not on all certificates, but on the ones I’ve purchased). However, whenever we have used our gift certificates they didn’t pay attention to those things so I wonder if you could use multiple gift certificates too if two people are paying.

Are the certificates mailed or emailed?

Deanna, they are printed offline. So, after you make your purchase you can print it and take it with you immediately.

I know at Pompillio’s they will NOT allow you to use more than one GC. Also only allowed Sun-Thurs. It’s best to call before you buy it. We even had two checks at the table. Now at Roma’s on Blue Rock…. they let us use one per couple about a month ago. However I don’t see them listed anymore

Another thing….. Save your Coke rewards points….. you can redeem your points for restaurant.com GCs. Can’t tell you how many times I have done that….and gone to the movies and had free pop and popcorn

Thanks, Amy!! I haven’t redeemed my Coke Rewards points for a Restaurant.com gift certificate. I always get the coke coupons (chuckle).

I just bought five of these for $10 – what a deal! I love using the Restaurant.com gift certificates – yes, some do have restrictions (not on weekends, no alcohol, etc.) but the Restaurant.com website is very clear about any restrictions by restaurant.

Could not find any ‘$25 for $2′ deals, all $25 gift cards were are least $10. Still a great deal, but you might want to edit the text here.

Wes, were you looking specifically at the gift certificates and not the dining clubs? Those are more expensive. I found several in my area for $2 after you apply the code.

Yes it was the gift certificates, not the dining clubs. I was going by the headline “$25 Gift Certificates for $2.” Thank you for the reply.

I got one of these the last time around, all i have to say is read the fine print for the restaurant you’re purchasing for. Not all of them, but most of them are like this. Say you buy a 25$ gift cert. Typically it requires you to spend double the amount on the certificate. So in reality, you’re paying 2$ for a 50% off coupon, & depending on which level you buy at depends on the restrictions. Such as the lower ones most of the time don’t include appetizers or drinks(not just alcoholic, regular fountain drinks). I had to buy a 75$ one to not have those restrictions; however, it requires a minimum purchase of 150$ to be able to use the certificate at all. So yea, half off is great, but just read carefully.
