This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.
I was asked to share my thoughts on Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. I have been using Boudreaux’s products for many years, so I can speak honestly about the products.
Cost
You can get Boudreaux’s Butt Paste Products starting around $5. The prices increase based on the sizes and types you purchase.
There seems to be a lot of coupons in the baby packages you receive upon leaving the hopsital. I always see insert coupons out periodically as well. There is a new coupon out for Boudreaux’s Butt Paste, actually:
$2/1 Boudreaux’s Product, any 4/11/2010 SS Insert (exp 12/31/2010)
So, if you use the coupon, you’re only paying $3 which is a great price for diaper ointment.
Use
Well, the name says it all :) It is rash cream, or as they call it Butt Paste, for your lil’ ones bottom. It is easy to apply from the tube. The Paste actually isn’t a paste consistency, rather a cream texture. It goes on smooth so you can apply more liberally. If you are like me, when our boys had rashes, their behind’s were covered :)
Personal
Our youngest son (who is nearly out of diapers and the butt paste stage, Amen) could ONLY use either Boudreaux’s or an over-the-counter grade diaper cream for his rashes. I preferred purchasing Boudreaux’s because I could use a coupon and save even more.
Since doing this post, I learned that Boudreaux’s was formulated by a pharmacist. Now I’m not surprised it works as well as the rash formulas created behind the pharmacy counter. Our boys all have sensitive skin so I had to ensure that things were safe to use on their diaper area.
Cheap
AS I mentioned above, you can use coupons to purchase Boudreaux’s Butt Paste products, which makes it more appealing to me. While many brands may offer coupons, I personally feel that the texture and effectiveness of Boudreaux’s make it a superior product. That is a huge part of why I have been using Boudreaux’s for many years. It’s inexpensive, it’s safe and it works.
You can get a Free Sample of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste as well.

I love this product, and just had to enter the contest, as we are expecting a new baby this summer. Thanks for the giveaway!

Butt paste is awesome. It is better than the cheap stuff.

I have used this product for the last 7 years and I love it! It works wonders on diaper rash as well as bug bites or even pimples. We tried other ointments, nothing compares to this one!

I’ve always used Desitin because it’s cheaper than the Butt Paste.

We have used the Butt Paste and Desitin.

We have used Desitin.

I’ve never tried Bordeaux before but I do know about it. I am about to have our 3rd and use mostly Balmex because pastes that contain fish oil (like Desitin) can leave cloth diapers smelling really nasty. I am going to use a combo of diapers on this baby – do you know if it contains fish oil?

I have been using Desitin but would love to try this!

Haven’t used it in awhile but with baby 2 on the way butt paste is a must

We have used Bordeaux’s since my daughter was born 13 months ago! The funny part is that we only registered for it because my husband thought it was great it was called “Butt Paste.”

We’ve used Butt Paste on all of our kids! It’s a great product.

We rotate between butt paste and a&d ointment.
If they’re rashy, butt paste is the only thing that works on my kids.

We have used the butt paste on my new baby and love it. It’s the only thing she could use. We unfortunately had to try all others before finding this out.

Love Butt Paste, even more than I used to love A&D. My mom bought it for me because it said Butt (which was a naughty word growing up but now we laugh about) and we didn’t even know that it’s so awesome, but it is!

I usually use Desitin, but only b/c I got so much for my baby shower!!! :)

We use Butt Paste…it works the best! I’ve also heard that it works really great on burns, but fortunately haven’t had to use it for this (yet)!

Have used Butt Paste, Desitin, and A/D ointment. FYI, when I worked in a hospital, we only used Butt Paste.

We have used Desitin and the Target brand but I have always wanted to try Butt Paste.

We love Butt Paste in this house.

I have used A&D ointment.

I usually use desitin. Thanks for the chance.

We just had a baby in February and he had major diaper rash. After using generic brand cream we switched to Boudreauxs per Dr. orders. His rash cleared up in 1 day. It was amazing.
Thanks!

I have used many creams/ointments over the years. When I had my daughter (2nd child), someone told me about Butt Paste. I loved the consistency and used it often. I still use it along with another organic cream.

Another reason to love Butt Paste – it is a homegrown company right here in the Midwest!

What haven’t we tried! Desitin, A&D, Aveeno, Palmers, store brands, and when all those failed, our peditrician gave me a sample box of Butt Paste packages as a Christmas gift for my son. Wish I had started with the Butt Paste in the beginning.

Boudreaux’s Butt Paste all the way, baby! Nothing else works on my baby’s butt :)

With my boys, we used Desitin Creamy, and it worked well. Now, with my daughter, we exclusively you Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. It is the only thing that works for her and it is wonderful for her sensitive skin!

We have always used Desitin, but someone recommended Butt Paste to me, so I was planning to get some soon (glad to see there’s a coupon available).

My kids werent too senseitive so I was able to get by with Desitin, but my sisters kids used Butt Paste. they had rashes alot.

We’ve used both Desitin and the Butt Paste. Boudreaux’s wins by a landslide in terms of recovery speed.

I tried everything on my lil boys bottom, finally tried the boudreaux rash protector!! I loved it!!! No more putting creams on his bottom, he’d cry if he saw any wipes!! :( He honestly smiled when he’d see me pick up that can!

We use Boudreaux Butt Paste- it’s all that works for my baby! LOVE the stuff!

I have usually used Desitin, but I hear Boudreaux’s is great!
[Reply]
I’ve used the Butt Paste and Destin Creamy more for prevention than for rashes. I’ve been known to go through 20 diapers a day so we don’t have much problem with rashes. I also use A&D for dry hands.
[Reply]
I would love to win this! We use Butt Paste ALL the time!

We use Desitin. It would be great to try Boudreauxs Butt Paste sometime.
