There is a California Pizza Kitchen Catalina starting. Buy 2 and get $1 off your next shopping trip; buy 3 and get $2 off; buy 4 and get $3 off. Not sure when it ends. I think March 21 or so. I long for the good old days, i.e., last summer, when you could buy 4 and get $5 off your next shopping trip. :( !!!

Jeff, thanks for the info! I saw the sale this week but didn’t see anything good to go along with it. I’ll find the details on the Cat and update the post!

I logged onto my Kroger account earlier today to find out that they have started a “March for Savings” event. This seems to be different from the Cart Busters deal going on right now. I played a little game and got a frozen California Kitchen pizza added to my Kroger card. Then I was able to print an additional list for a savings of $4 when you mix or match 8 items. Does anyone else know about this, and if so, could you provide any details about it?

I don’t see $.50/1 Green Giant coupons…all I can find is $.50/2.

Andrea Deckard Reply:

Katie, I used a preview from Sunday Coupon Preview to match the Green Giant sale so there is a possibility of a regional difference (where we got the $.50/2).

I also played the March for Savings game and won 3 lb of Maxwell or Yuban coffee. On the buy 8 save, $4 list the coffee is included. Do you think that the free one would count towards it? I saw Nabisco Cookies on there as well. I was going to use my BOGO coupon. Do you think both of those would count too? I’d be up to 3 items. Thanks!

Andrea, I looked at Kroger.com and didn’t see the Buy 8, save $4. Do you have a link you can drop in here so I can check it out? I wonder if it’s regional. And, definitely the coffee would be included in that. If you use a coupon, you will simply get it free AND qualify for the $4 off!

Andrea, you actually have to log in to your online account and play the little game. Then it shows you the list. I won a pack of Kraft cheesesticks today! So now I have won a free pizza and cheesesticks! Score!

Terri- So you can play this game everyday? It said you could until April 6 but I really didn’ t think that I would win a product everyday. I will try again tomorrow. That’s awesome if it works. I also got a free vitamin water on FB so now I am up to 4 items…3 free towards the $4 off.

Last weeks paper included coupons for Old Spice Body Wash, Spray and deordorant.

This week at Kroger, three Old spice Body washes are on sale for $10
I had a $3 off coupon for Two Old spice Body washes.

The Old spice deodorant is on sale for $1.88
My other coupon was $1 off an Old Spice deodorant and body wash
I paid $7 for three bottles of body wash and a stick of deodorant.

WAHOO!! I usually look at the Kroger website to create a shopping list but didn’t this week as their ad wasn’t great – other than their meat sale. I would have missed out on more of the March for Savings than I already have if I hadn’t come here via MSM. I won a CPK pizza. YEAH!!! Also, got the coupon for the Vitamin Water…well, it’s coming via the mail anyway.

I went to Kroger to get a “few” things and found a few extra bargains I don’t see listed. My Kroger had the Old Elpaso taco shells and flour tortillas for $1. ea. I still had a printable cpn for .60/2, so dbled they cost me .50! I also saw they had Betty Crocker Pouch potatoes (not boxes) for .67 and there is a .40 cpn on coupons.com (which they adjusted down), so they were free. I didn’t buy, but saw 4 packs of the Pillsbury biscuits (refridge) for 1.25 for the 4 pack (they are not equal size to the indiv ones, but they are the same price and definitely more in there total. I just didn’t buy because unsure of how I’d use in my recipes and didn’t have cpns ready!! Also don’t eat many due to sodium, but good deal if you use them. The cheerios snack mix are also $1.50 and there were IP for .60 off, not sure if now available.

I got a $1 OYNO from General Mills tonight at Fry’s (Arizona’s Kroger). Has anyone else received this or know what prompted it? I can’t find a cat deal for the stuff I bought anywhere.

[Reply]

Andrea Deckard Reply:

Beth, what General Mills stuff did you buy? There are several General Mills related Cats going on (with the Betty Crocker stuff).

Beth Reply:

Andrea ~
I guess I should have been more specific. LOL. I did not buy the helper or the fruit snacks. I got Betty Crocker frosting, Betty Crocker warm delights, Betty Crocker cake mix, Betty Crocker pouch potatoes, Pillsbury grands, Pillsbury pizza crust, and Green Giant valley fresh steamers. All are general mills products, but I don’t see any Cat deals that would prompt a $1.00 from those items. And the Cat did say General Mills. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Just got back from krogers in Mainville, OH. They marked down the Gillette Fusion razors to $4! I had 4 of the $4 off Fusion razors from the P&G coupons insert. THEN I had the $4 off when you buy any 2 gillette deodorants. They were on sale 3 for $10. I bought 4 deodorants and THEN I had 4 coupons for buy any gillette deodorant and get 1 free body wash! So for $5.33 I got 4 razors, 4 deodorants and 4 body washes. When I was at the register I found a coupon for buy 1 gillette body wash get 1 fusion shave prep. I wasn’t sure it would fly so I didn’t try to stack again! I was already tired and wanted to get home. Good luck!
