Staples.com | FREE Sharpies and Batteries

Staples Rewards

These are a few sweet deals!

Right now, you can get $25 in Sharpie Products for FREE at Staples.com!  You should be able to enter code 96140 at checkout and get $25 deducted automatically, but the code isn’t working right now – it does work!

Here’s what you need to do to take advantage of the $25 FREE Sharpie OfferIt appears the code is no longer valid :(

  • Visit Staples.com – Sharpie Category
  • Add $25 worth of Sharpie products to your cart
  • Checkout, paying the full amount (without the $25 discount)
  • Call Staples Customer Service at 1-800-891-0195 and ask them to provide you a credit
  • Select in-store pickup and pay nothing for shipping!

Granted, you are charged the full amount up front, but you should receive a credit within 48 hours.  I got through to a live CS rep pretty fast!

Thanks, The Thrifty Mama!

The other great offer going on are for FREE Batteries after Staples Reward! The Staples Reward applies to the Duracell Battery 20 ct pacakges.  Here’s what you need to do to take advantage of this offer (this IS still valid):

This says it is a limit of 2 per customer per week. So, I’m assuming you can do this every week between the dates of November 27 – December 26 (or until supplies run out).

Thanks, Deal Seeking Mom!

Since the batteries on on Rebate via Staples Reward, you will need to have a Staples Reward account.  It is FREE to open and you will be prompted during checkout if you want an account.  You will receive your reward 30 days following the calendar quarter (so early January for the batteries, specifically).  You can use this in-store, online or on phone orders.

Finally, shop online through Shop at Home and earn 3% cash back on all of the transactions above!

Just an update:
If you call immediately after placing your order, you will not be waiting for a $25 credit. She told me that $27.65 would be placed “on hold”, but that when the charge actually goes through, my total charge will show .65. So, yes the money will be “on hold”, but you’re not actually being charged that amount up front.

Thanks, Stephanie! I called immediately after I pressed submit and they told me I’d get a credit. But, good to know that it could possibly be just a hold and no messing with credits!

As of this morning it isn’t working. They said they are out and removed the coupon today at 1030 am.

FYI- I am on hold for a credit now and the automated message says the Sharpie offer is no longer being offered. The rep tells me any order placed today will NOT be honored. Good try!

Lorie, WHAT? It was on their site and they have to honor it! Hopefully you can cancel it! Sorry – it worked yesterday just fine and when a company has an offer listed directly on their site like that, they should do the ethical thing and honor it. I know I’m speaking to the choir though…so sorry!

Is this only on-line? Can I do it in the store?

Karen, you can also do this in the store.
