I’ve only been CVSing for 3 weeks. My total spent in 2009 is less than $5 :P Total savings? $279.33. It’s amazing! For the 8/9 sale (my store starts on sat) I got the huggies deal, the make up, and the candy all twice (I have 2 cards) and 6 bottles of coke-and I walked out with the same amount of ECB’s I walked in with, and bags full of candy and soda lol and I just paid tax :) I’m so excited! I also stopped and got the cheap huggies wipes at Walgreens! It was a good day for us!

Kay, I’m so excited for you!!! It is so much fun to hear people’s excitement when they first start out! It can save you a TON!! I think I may actually go to CVS this week to get the Coke and Huggies. They are great prices for sure!

You can’t use the $3 Nexxus coupons on the $5.19 shampoo. The coupons exclude the 5.1 oz shampoo. You’d have to buy 2 at $11.99. I wish it was that cheap!

Jennifer, you are right! I didn’t see that language when I thought of that scenario. Still a 50% savings from the ECB is good if you use that shampoo, especially since there’s a high dollar coupon to match.

I went to CVS to buy Huggies diapers for my daughter; I normally buy Kroger diapers, but put a Huggies Overnight on her during the night…

the Extra Care Bucks are good on EVERY OTHER KIND of Huggies Diapers EXCEPT Overnights.

I was so mad. There was no price difference, no volume difference…. it just wasn’t good for the Overnights.

Really mad. Didn’t make sense at all…

mommysnacks Reply:

Shoot, Amy – that stinks! I actually like those Overnight diapers too. We got some during the last Kmart doubles and they work great!
