Can you use 2
75cents off/2 Q
on two boxes of an item.

i.e. 2 Q for 2 boxes?

Or do you need to buy 4 boxes to use this type of Q?

mommysnacks Reply:

K, you need to purchase 4 boxes if you use two $.75 on 2 coupons.

Make sure you get your $5 Catalina if you purchase the $20 worth of products! I was very careful to purchase enough of the products included in the offer, but I didn’t get my Catalina, so I went to the service desk with my receipt and she just handed me a $5 bill…she said they’ve been having problems with that deal this week.

You cann’t use both the buy one get one $1 deal and the $10 off deal on backpacks unless you buy 3 backpacks. I bought 2 backpacks and $10 in Kelloges things and asked the cashier to check if both sales were ringing up right. (As I was also busy with 2 little ones) and she said yes, but looking at the receipt showed that it took $10 off the second one and THEN changed it to $1. I ended up spending 45 mins. with costomer service as they contacted boses and such untill I found out that you can A. get one backpack for $10 off or B. get 3 backpacks, one full price, one $1 and one $10 off. So, I got 3, spent $10 more then I thought I could get 2 for but have 2 backpacks to give to charity. This is not the first time that saving money websites has said that sales should work in a logical method that saves you money and Meijer has refused to allow it. Also the sale on mac and cheese is only on 4 so to get the $2 coupon you need to pay full price on 2.

Jess, that doesn’t make sense though. If you got a bag for $12, you would receive a $10 credit. You would be technically buying that bag but just paying $2 for it. If they did call the management over, I guess it’s their policy interpretation. I would definitely push the issue though because it’s not right IMO.

I’ve also never had an issue with a Catalina on a B1G1 sale. What region are you in? I wonder if that has any difference??

K, thanks! I don’t have time to contact Jonathan so if Becky says she did, I’m trusting she got her facts squared away! It still makes no sense to me and I think Meijer should honor the price though regardless of the register logic…of course that’s my $.02!

It seems to me it would have made more sense for them to do the backpack deals in *separate* weeks to avoid confusion……

Oh well :)

I’m not sure if this sale is in your ad–I’m from MI–but Lysol cleaning sprays are on sale 2 for $4.00. I used 2 $.75 mf coupons and 1 $1.00 off 2 Meijer coupon and paid $.75 a spray. For those of you that can double coupons, you could probably get an even better deal.

I would have thought so too and posted that one would be $10 off and the other would be $1, but when I was getting comments that it was not working, I emailed him. I will send you the email!

I agree though – either separate weeks or not at all. Confusing, but maybe they were banking on that?

Thanks for the tip on the Kraft mac & cheese catalina promo. As of this morning, I have 46 boxes and it only cost $8 oop. I split up my transactions and had no trouble getting the $2 catalina after purchasing 6 boxes.

My kids love this stuff, so it will get eaten. It is nice to know this supply will take us into next summer. Besides, I was told mac and cheese is a food group. It is, isn’t it?!
