Andon's Baby Mullet

Yes, the *party in the back* is gone!

boo hoo hoo…

He looks like such a big boy now!

Andon with post-cut mandatory sucker (aka, bribery)

I wasn’t as emotional as I thought I would be. When the stylist took the first cut from the mullet it was sad.  She even said, “Man, he has a mullet” even before I called it that (so I’m not hatin’ on the mullet wearers, it just wasn’t the right look for our little boy :).

The inaugural cutting of the mullet

He’s growing up. My kids are growing up. In between Andon’s dinosaur-like screeches (that’s what he sounds like when he screams and screeches at us), he’s a little boy. My little toddler just waiting to get his knees scraped up (which has already happened countless of times), climb dirt piles, have nasty crud under his nails and will chase any critter with legs (I’ve mentioned his infatulation with animals and creatures this momma isn’t the fondest of).

Ahhh…this parenting stuff is so tiring, stressful and requires intense labor beyond the delivery room!  But, it’s so sweet to see them happy w/ their momma and a balloon! If only life could be that simple :)

My precious boy is growing up!

He looks so much older! I was just thinking of taking C in for a cut before the summer…he’ll have a mullet before too long!

Isn’t it amazing how fast a haircut can make them grow up? Your little man is too cute with his new ‘do!

Mullets aren’t for us, either… :)

Farewell sweet baby mullet! At least you’ll always have pictures. The barber that does my son’s hair has that same fish cape (or “bib” as Woggie calls it).

(Oh & thanks for the reminder that I need to call and make an appt.)

Oh, he is so sweet! Bye bye, mullet. My girl is gonna have a side mullet–only the sides of her hair are growing. Still short as can be in the back.

I love the pics, he is so handsome, at least he had hair, my boy had his first haircut after his second birthday (still not much to cut, lol). I love the personal touch to blogs, it puts all the computer/sale jargon in perspective, we are human beings and have lives as well, thank you for sharing and all you do :)

It looks great. So cute. My boys are 15 and 13 now, I remember how hard the first haircuts were, especially the oldest. He had the most beautiful curls:)

Such cute kissable cheeks! Its amazing how much older the look after their first haircut! I look back at pictures of my son and wonder why the heck I waited so long to get it cut!

And my daughter just turned one but has had her hair cut 4 times already! She was born with a beautiful full head of hair!!!

My two year old had the exact same mullet thing going on! I just cut it yesterday. Sigh, he’s still a cutie patootie!

What a huge change! I can’t help but think that I will be taking Colin in to get his mullet cut off in a few short years. Right now, the poor kid is completely bald!

Good job, mama. Love the shadow photo!

Isn’t it amazing how much older they look with just a haircut? He looks adorable though. :)

Ahhh, balloons. They sure are a wonderful thing until someone lets it go. heh!

Too cute!! My daughter has a “mullet” but it would look funny if I cut all of her hair off! We usually just have to do pigtails for her :-)

One of my favorite pix of my son is his first haircut. From the 9th grade until after he graduated, he didn’t cut his hair at all.

This tells that story!
