If you are going to freeze them, I've done: Cut into slices, flash freeze and put into baggies. Put frozen slices into blender for smoothies. Freeze with peel on. Thaw out for baking. Since they are mushy when thawed, I probably wouldn't feed them to my kids. Amy, I wouldn’t freeze/thaw them for kids’ snacks. If you are going to freeze them, I’ve done:
